We are close to many National Trust sites : Chartwell, Hever, Chiddingstone, Knoll Park, and Ightham Mote are just a few.

Emmitts Gardens are just up the road. Nearby, Bough Beech Reservoir is a  bird watchers' paradise!

 Toys Hill (pretty much the highest point in Kent) is close by, with fabulous walks all around.
